Thank you choosing my blog to fill your leisure time. :D So, today i will tell you about what we had learnt this week in IT class. this week we had learnt about CMC. Familiar with that? I think maybe some of you familiar with that. Basically, CMC stand for Computer Mediated Communication. During the lecture in lab, Madam Azidatun had explain to us briefly what is CMC. CMC is interaction between two or more people via separate computer through network connection. Picture below is the example apps for CMC. Example of CMC Then, the lecture continued with asynchronous CMC and synchronous CMC.  a) Asynchronous CMC communication that is not synchronized. HOLA!! Guess what will I tell you in this entry? This week, our cute lecturer, Madam Azidatun touched on the topic 'Search Engine and Online Database'.  I have learn that search engines like Google, Yahoo and many more used software that can collects all the data from web and include in its database. I just knew that   each search engines has its own database.  when you search something form different search engines, the information or data appear might be different. Search engine were divided by certain parts. its are  database, web crawlers or spiders, user interface and info retrieval system.  Other than that, we also had discovered a website which we can find anyone by only type their name and the computer does the research. You can just google PILP and it will show the website. Hye!!!! This week i had learn about evolution of CALL. I will briefly explain about behaviouristic CALL. CALL was developed in 1960s based on behaviourist learning theory. Primarily used for Audio-Lingual method. Programmed Instruction involves repetitive drill and practice. The computer is seen as the ultimate teacher’s aid – a tireless drillmaster with a perfect pronunciation model. Aimed to transfer textbooks and worksheets to computer-based application. What I say evolution of CALL can considered as old school but communicative CALL are still in used until now. Computer as motivation are on decline.  So think i will stop here. HELLO HELLO HELLO!  Assalamualaikum and Salam Ramadhan. Hye everyone!! I hope whoever read my blog having a great day and fasting on this holy month. Dont cheat haaa!  I interested in IT so I am very excited to explore and learn many things about IT in the class. During IT class, Madam Azidatun had teaches us on CALL which means Computer Assisted Language Learning . At first, she explained to us the history of CALL before she continued in details what does it means and showed some examples.
